Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Districts Affairs Department, emphasized the significant role of public engagement in enhancing the department's service delivery. He noted that the department has witnessed notable improvements in services, such as the booking of suburb councils and mourning tents, resulting from actively considering public feedback. Additionally, to facilitate effective communication and access to community services, the department has established a dedicated hotline at 80093 for public use.
He stressed the department's commitment to employing adaptable communication and interaction strategies with its clients to fulfil their needs and deliver services while advancing the overarching strategic objectives of fostering community cohesion and driving sustainable development initiatives.
Dr. Abdulaziz Al Muhairi, Chairman of the Sharjah Health Authority, highlighted the significance of using government communication as a vital platform for disseminating accurate health and awareness messages to the community. This ensures the prevention of misinformation in the sphere of global communication. Dr. Al Muhairi stressed the importance of clear and authoritative messaging from competent bodies to effectively reach the target audience.
The Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, underscored the critical role of government communication during crises and disasters.
