At the outset of the meeting, Al Tunaiji commended the club’s chairman and members for earning the confidence of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, and their inclusion in the new formation of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club Board of Directors. He lauded the visionary leadership of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah in enhancing the Al Dhaid Camel Racing Field to meet rigorous technical standards, marking a significant enhancement for future generations' immersion in the heritage and antiquity of this sport. Furthermore, he underscored the club’s pivotal role in nurturing heritage sports, particularly camel racing, in light of the unwavering backing extended by the esteemed leadership to this discipline.
Bin Huwaiden expressed gratitude for the trust placed in the Board of Directors by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, and Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah. He acknowledged their support for the development of the Al Dhaid field and extended thanks to the Al Dhaid City Municipality for their collaborative efforts in advancing the welfare of camel owners. This cooperation has been instrumental in the progress of the club.
During the meeting, Khalid Matar Al Tunaiji, a board member of the club, put forward a series of proposals aimed at benefiting camel owners. He emphasized the necessity of collaborative efforts to effectively deliver and execute these services for the overall betterment of the Al Dhaid field.
