Sharjah 24: Ali Al Loughani, member of Rubu’ Qarn Centre for Science and Technology, won the gold award, during his participation in the Silicon Valley International Inventions Festival (SVIIF) 2024, held in California, USA, under the auspices of the International Federation of Inventors' Associations (IFIA) and the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO).
Ali Al-Loughani won the gold award for his innovative invention, the "Doctor Robot" project, inspired by the national initiative "A Doctor for Every Citizen". He developed the initiative to become "A Doctor for Every Family", until he was able to attract the attention of experts and innovators participating in the festival.
The project reflects Al-Loughani's ingenuity in employing modern technology and software to create smart projects that contribute to serving humanity, as the project aims to preserve the lives of patients, by following up on their cases in their homes, and the ability to provide medical advice, and record all data related to each patient, according to an integrated system that works with artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things technologies.
The achievement is part of the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, and an embodiment of its vision: "A community partner in building and empowering conscious and influential generations", and what its specialised centre for science and technology offers in terms of programmes and technical challenges that hone the skills of Sharjah future generations under the slogan “With Minds We Move”, in addition to the creative journey that extends for 25 years towards exploration and invention, through the centers of its affiliated institutions "Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah and Sharjah Capability Development, in a way that enhances their excellence and ability to innovate in providing pioneering technical solutions that contribute to serving the Emirati and international community.
