On Saturday, Sharjah secured an important 1-0 win against Khorfakkan at the "Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi" Stadium in Khorfakkan. This match was the first leg of the first round of the "Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Cup".
In the very last moments of the game, Ousmane Camara scored the only goal for Sharjah.

In the match, Camara assisted the team in taking the lead before the crucial second game on Saturday, September 7, at the Sharjah Club Stadium.
