Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Department of Agriculture and Livestock (SDAL), under the sponsorship of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is participating in the eighth annual Al Dhaid Date Festival as part of its ongoing commitment to encouraging food resource conservation.
The department's comprehensive informative booth highlights the department's core services and programmes that serve the local community and help to promote the agriculture and livestock industries.

Salem Abdullah Al Kaabi, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Livestock, stated, "Through our participation in the Al Dhaid Date Festival, we emphasise our commitment to improving communication with the local community and raising awareness about the importance of agriculture and livestock as vital sectors for sustaining and strengthening the food security system." We highlight the Sharjah government's pioneering programmes as part of its efforts to strengthen sustainable food production in the emirate, as envisioned by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. Furthermore, we showcase the most recent safe and sustainable services and solutions for farm owners and farmers."

The Sharjah Agriculture and Livestock Department's exhibit at the Al Dhaid Date Festival showcases the department's current services and initiatives, as well as industry breakthroughs.
