Sharjah 24: Abdullah Murad Al Mazmi, Board Member of the Sharjah Cultural and Chess Club, announced the launch of the summer camp activities, supervised by the Sharjah Sports Council and in collaboration with the Emirates Creative Association, with over 120 participants.
The camp features a variety of innovative activities and events designed to enrich students' cultural awareness, strengthen their connection to national identity, and instill authentic Emirati values, morals, and customs.
Al Mazmi added that the month-long summer camp features a wide range of recreational, cultural, and educational activities. These include creative workshops, specialised courses, vocational training, discussion sessions, scientific experiments, sports competitions, and field trips. The camp targets participants aged 7 to 12 and is organised in partnership with selected entities from the government and private sectors and is supported by a team of specialists and professional trainers.
He expressed gratitude to Dr. Khalid bin Humaid Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Cultural and Chess Club, for his unwavering support of the clubs and his dedication to ensuring the camp's success. He also commended the cooperation and efforts of the Sharjah Sports Council, the Emirates Creative Association, and all partners and sponsors for their contributions to making this year’s activities successful.
