The second week, titled "I am an Athlete", witnessed a diverse package of sports, cultural and recreational activities suited for all age groups, and included workshops, cultural competitions, practicing sports hobbies, electronic games, and educational and religious educational materials.
The week included the "Innovative Athlete" workshop, which targeted 150 participants, and worked on developing their craft skills in preparing various innovative models and shapes. The club also organized football divisions, a basketball workshop, swimming and Taekwondo training, and the "Innovative Athlete" workshop, through which the participants learned professional skills that benefit them positively in their daily and sports life. In addition, a lecture on "Sports Values and Ethics" was organized, presented by Dr. Saeed Ballaith Al-Taniji, in which he introduced the participants of the summer activity to the concept of sports ethics, its role in building an ideal sports community, as well as the importance of spreading and enhancing the values, ethics and principles that a successful athlete must have, and working to instill them in the minds of the youth, and committing to play their positive and effective roles in the community.
The club organized a sports commentary workshop, which is considered one of the most influential and fastest-reaching means of sports media, through which the members received an explanation of the arts of sports commentary and its secrets, and the need to develop personal capabilities and tools to learn how to convey sports events in an exciting, engaging, and attractive manner.
The specialists at the club also presented sports activities such as swimming and basketball, in addition to the "Educated Athlete" competition, which the program members interacted with through their answers to the questions asked, in an exciting competitive atmosphere, and at the end of the competition, the winners were honored and prizes were distributed.
The club launched the "Emerging Speaker" initiative for the program members, with the aim of preparing and qualifying them to be speakers according to the best standards, teaching them the basics of public speaking, instilling self-confidence, the ability to face the audience and interact with them, as well as teaching them the basics of voice, body language and facial expressions. This initiative also aims to employ the verbal, linguistic and vocal skills of the members in ideal communication with others.
During the week, a "Robot Programming" workshop was organized, through which the members were introduced to the world of robots, the basics of their operation and programming, and the role of artificial intelligence in sustainable development, highlighting the importance of paving the way towards creating an innovative and creative generation.
The club members competed with clubs from the Central Region in running races "Speed Challenge", within 4 categories (100m, 200m, 400m, and 100m relay), as well as the "Telly Match" competition with its various challenges, including tug-of-war, ball delivery, and basketball shooting, in addition to the ring game and the sack challenge. The Al-Madam Cultural and Sports Club team achieved the first place at the level of the clubs in the Central Region.
The members interacted with the recitation and Tajweed (proper pronunciation) of verses from the Holy Quran, and they also enjoyed the trips organized by the club to the tourist sites in Sharjah, such as the Al-Faya Mountain Trail, which introduced them to the archaeological areas and their history, as well as their experience of mountain climbing.
