Sharjah 24: Under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, the Sharjah Camel Racing Club's two-year camel race events started on Sunday morning, July 7, at the Al Dhaid Camel Racing Track. The race had 24 rounds, each covering 1500 metres.
Matar Ali bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, confirmed that the two-year camel race has made a significant contribution to preserving camel racing's important heritage, raising awareness of its uniqueness among new generations, and instilling it in their hearts.
