Sharjah 24: Aisha Mohammed Al Zaabi, Acting Head of the Government Communications Department at Kalba Municipality, confirmed that the summer training programme for youth, enhances children’s skills and develops their talents in the areas of municipal work.
Kalba Municipality continues the activities and events of the summer training programme, intended for young people in the age group of 12 to 15 years, males and females.
Aisha Mohammed Al Zaabi said that the programne, which was launched at the beginning of this month and will continue until the 11th of the same month, is one of the programmes aimed at sharpening the energies of children, developing their skills, and qualifying students for the labour market.
She added in statements to “Sharjah 24” that the programme enhances students’ opportunities to invest their summer vacation time in acquiring new and diverse knowledge and skills.
Al Zaabi indicated that the programme includes several training workshops and awareness lectures on health inspection, food control, and areas of administrative work in the municipality, in addition to organising field tours at the municipality’s work sites.
