Sharjah24: "From July 3 to 8, Sharjah Children's Farm held an informative workshop focusing on the benefits of goats and their role in promoting environmental awareness. The workshop included a demonstration on making soap from goat milk."
Amna Ibrahim Al Naqbi, the official spokesperson for the Children’s Farm of the Environment & Protected Areas Authority in Sharjah, announced the orchestration of an educational workshop titled "Sustainability and Goats." The workshop's primary objective is to familiarize visitors with various goat species and their significant role in promoting sustainability. The workshop particularly emphasizes the characteristics and contributions of mountain goats and dwarf goats.

During an interview with Sharjah 24, she affirmed that the workshop emphasized goats' diverse advantages, such as the production of nutrient-rich milk and the utilization of goat hair in the manufacturing of various goods.

The workshop featured a hands-on component, during which participants created soap using goat milk. This provided an informative and engaging experience for attendees.

Al Naqbi explained that this workshop’s purpose was to raise awareness about the importance of preserving biodiversity and promoting sustainability in society. The farm aims to educate the public about the environmental role of goats and other natural resources through these activities.
