Sharjah 24: Asma Al Juwaied, Manager of the Sharjah Press Club (SPC) affiliated with the Sharjah Government Media Bureau, announced that the interviewing of candidates for the sixth edition of the Ithmar programme began on Tuesday at the Children’s Centre in Al Qarayen, and will continue for 3 days.
She maintained that the programme began interviewing more than 100 candidates for the programme that was launched by the club for children and adolescents from 10 to 17 years old, to determine the extent of their readiness and aptitude for it.
She added, in statements to “Sharjah 24,” that there is a specialised committee to interview children, noting that the programme aims to consolidate media awareness among children and young people, and hone their skills to learn about the media.
