SY launches a variety of activities and programs

Sharjah Youth's summer activities include a variety of interactive workshops and different programs aimed at translating the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Rubu’ Qarn Foundation for Creating Leaders and Innovators. Their vision focuses on nurturing youth and providing the appropriate environment to support their skills and talents.

The initiative is in line with the foundation's mission to provide creative activities and programmes that nurture the skills and potential of children, youth, and young adults. It aims to become a valuable community partner in fostering influential generations, while maintaining its leadership in summer activities in the emirate.

The eight Sharjah Youth centres across the emirate provide a secure and nurturing environment for young people to engage in various programmes and activities during their leisure time. The activities will take place in the evenings from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

In addition, this year the Wasit Youth Centre, Khorfakkan Youth Centre, Kalba Youth Centre, and Dibba Al Hisn Youth Centre will be hosting the Skills Lab programme as part of the "Summer with Us" event. The programme will take place in the mornings from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

The "Summer with Us" agenda features a wide range of activities and programmes in cultural, literary, artistic, life skills, sports, cinematic, and science and technology fields. These activities are designed to foster a sense of institutional values, focusing on care, impact, and sustainability. They have been designed to engage and empower young individuals, allowing them to develop their skills over the summer break.

The event also offers a wide range of beach activities. There are also external trips and opportunities for participation, as well as useful activities and programmes organised in collaboration with local and international partners and specialists.
