Al Ahbabi: President's reception boosts Al Ain Players' morale

Sharjah 24: Bandar Al Ahbabi, captain of Al Ain Club, emphasised that the reception of the team by President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is the greatest motivation for the players as they move forward into the next stage. This historic moment, marked by a handshake with His Highness, serves as an immense incentive for the players to strive for positive results in international tournaments.

Al Ahbabi expressed pride in this significant occasion, stating, “We are honoured by this momentous handshake with His Highness. It inspires us to elevate the UAE’s flag in global forums and places a great responsibility on us to perform at our best, showcasing an honourable image of Emirati football.”

Reflecting on the team’s achievements, he noted that Al Ain’s first AFC Champions League title in 2003 was pivotal in reaching their current success.
