Sharjah24: The President of the Arab Innovators Union, Dr Ahmed Nour, lauded the Sharjah Cooperative for its outstanding work in establishing a balance between its social and economic commitments.
To keep everyone informed, the cooperative donates a portion of its annual income to community activities and environmental initiatives, maintaining constant communication with the community through its numerous institutions. For this exceptional achievement, the cooperative was awarded the United Nations Economic Creativity Medal.
Despite the various marketing strategies employed by numerous shopping centres operating under the UAE's free market economy, Sharjah Cooperative has established itself as a standard for determining the appropriateness and stability of prices, even in the face of rapid economic changes, intense market competition, and the COVID-19 pandemic.
Dr Nour spoke highly of Sharjah Cooperative, praising its forward-thinking approach to management and operational system development, its dedication to human resource development, and its specialised training programmes that aim to increase staff competence and efficiency.
Dr Narmin Selim Amin, who is both the UN Permanent Representative and Secretary-General of the Arab Innovators Union, congratulated Sharjah Cooperative on earning the Economic Creativity Medal. Dr. Narmin Selim Amin emphasized that Sharjah Cooperative's application met the award's requirements, with sustainable development being the most crucial aspect.
