Al Wasl wins over Al Ain in rescheduled summit of round 20 of APL

Sharjah 24: Al Wasl triumphed over Al Ain 4-2 in their rescheduled match of the 20th round of the ADNOC Professional League at Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.

This victory marked the first time Al Wasl achieved a season sweep against Al Ain in the professional league.

Al Wasl's goals were scored by Sofiane Bouftini in the 6th minute, Caio Canedo in the 19th and 60th minutes, and Fabio Lima in the 40th minute. Al Ain responded with goals from Youngo Park in the 69th minute and Sofiane Rahimi in the 84th minute.

With this win, Al Wasl increased its tally to 64 points, leading the league, while Al Ain remained at 42 points, holding third place after 23 matches.
