Sharjah24: The Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority (SEWA) is making significant progress in infrastructure projects for electricity, water and natural gas in the Al Shanouf area, ensuring that the highest standards and specifications are met. In Al Shanouf, a number of important development and service projects have been successfully completed. One notable achievement is the completion of the first phase of road lighting projects. This involved the installation of 335 streetlight poles and the extension of over 38,000 kilometres of electrical cables.
According to Eng. Ahmed Al Bas, Deputy Director of the Electricity Distribution Department at SEWA, lighting projects play a crucial role in promoting road safety and improving the overall visual appeal of the area. The installation of 245 poles on the external roads of Al Shanouf and 90 poles on the internal roads has been noted by SEWA. The authority is actively working on implementing lighting projects in all new development areas.
