Sharjah24: Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) accomplishes the electrical network, water supply, and street lighting in the second phase of Al Saaf Residential Complex at a cost of AED 25.237 million .
In compliance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi,  Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to provide best services in all residential areas of the Emirate of Sharjah, the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority in Kalba has completed the construction of the electrical network, water supply, and installation of street lighting poles for the second phase of Al Saaf Residential Complex, consisting of 273 units, at a total cost of AED 25.237 million .

Eng. Youssef Mohamed Abdullah Al Hammadi, Acting Director of the Kalba Department, explained that the electrical network for the second phase of Al Saaf Residential Complex was constructed using high-pressure and low-pressure cables with a length of 44 meters. Six 11 kV substations were installed throughout the complex, and 50 electrical distribution boxes were installed to connect the services to all the units, with a total value of AED 21 million .

He pointed out that the second phase of the complex was illuminated by installing 260 lighting poles and extending the lighting cables over a distance of 10,500 meters. Additionally, seven lighting control boxes were installed at a total cost of AED 1.6 million .

Furthermore, water services were connected to the second phase of Al Saaf Residential Complex, consisting of 273 units, at a total cost of AED 2.637 million . The length of the water network exceeded 7 kilometers, with diameters ranging from 100mm to 200mm. The pipes used comply with the latest international standards and health requirements for transporting fresh water.
