Al Hosani: AED 416M for Industrial Zones 6-7, Al Nahda devt.

Sharjah 24: Dr. Engineer Ihsan Al Hosani, Director of Projects at the Authority for Initiatives Implementation “Mubadara,”revealed that the infrastructure development project for Industrial Areas 6-7 and Al Nahda Area in Sharjah has a total cost of 416 million dirhams.
Al Hosani affirmed that the project aligns with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to enhance infrastructure development in the emirate, particularly in industrial areas, to accommodate diverse commercial activities. A societal agreement was signed for the infrastructure development project for Industrial Areas 6-7 and Al Nahda area in Sharjah.

He added to “Sharjah 24” that the successful completion of the Tenth Industrial Area involved a collaborative effort from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mubadara , the Department of Planning and Survey, the Sharjah Municipality, the Roads and Transport Authority, and the Sharjah Electricity, Water, and Gas Authority. They announced the commencement of the infrastructure development phase in the Al Nahda and the Sixth and Seventh Industrial Areas. The project, costing a total of 416 million dirhams, adheres to the highest international standards and aims to enhance economic competitiveness and drive development in the Emirate of Sharjah.

Dr. Engineer Al Hosani highlighted that the ongoing phase of the project involves converting the Seventh Industrial Area and the former Al Nahda Industrial Area1 into fully investment, residential, and commercial areas, with their current industrial facilities transformed into specialised industrial areas. Meanwhile, the Sixth Industrial Area will retain its current industrial uses while maintaining its commercial structure and the nature of its existing industrial facilities.
