Sharjah24: New competitions for the Fatamin Races continued on Sunday, May 19, under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, organized by the Sharjah Equestrian Club, with the participation of members from various tribes across the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
The race, held at Al Dhaid Equestrian Field, consisted of 24 rounds for the Fatamin Races, including 8 rounds for the participants from Al Dhaid, 4 challenging rounds for the locals of Al Dhaid, 10 open rounds, and 2 rounds without treatment for the locals of Al Dhaid, covering a distance of 1500 meters. The results of the top positions in the race were as follows:
The first round, "Al Dhabiyah," was won by Rashid Ali bin Bakhit Al Ketbi.
The second round, "Al Shababi," achieved by Abdullah Mohammed Mua'dh bin Hwayden Al Ketbi, with a time of 2:7:56 (best time).
The third round, "Al Shahiniyah," won by Khaled Obaid Khalifa Al Shuwa'in.
The fourth round, "Mublash," won by Rashid Mubarak Mohammed Al Khasouni.
The fifth round, "Tasmeem," won by Abdullah Hassan Ahmed Al Marzouqi.
The sixth round, "Shahin," won by Saif Mubarak Saif Al Ketbi.
The seventh round, "Al Naseem," won by Ali Mohammed Ali Shararah Al Ketbi.
The eighth round, "Shahin," won by Ali Obaid Mua'dh Al Ketbi.
The ninth round, "Al Dhabiyah," won by Mohammed Hamad Hamidi Al Ketbi.
The tenth round, "Al Hakam," won by Mohammed Khalafan Khamis Al Ruzi Al Shamshi.
The eleventh round, "Al Shahiniyah," won by Mohammed Saeed Mohammed Al Ketbi.
The twelfth round, "Shahin," won by Khalifa Rabie bin Ghuweth Al Ketbi.
The thirteenth round, "Samarkand," won by Salem Khalafan Bal Aree Al Ketbi.
The fourteenth round, "Shahin," won by Mohammed Khalifan Mohammed Hwayden Al Ketbi.
The fifteenth round, "Shawahin," won by Salem Khalafan Bal Aree Al Ketbi.
The sixteenth round, "Shahin," won by Ali Saeed Salem bin Tarish.
The seventeenth round, "Shawahin," won by Ali Saif Al Khassouni.
The eighteenth round, "Al Ruhaawi," won by Salem Saif Khamis Al Nadas.
The nineteenth round, "Irsad," won by Salem Saif Khamis Al Nadas.
The twentieth round, "Walwal," won by Salem Saif Khamis Al Nadas.
Matar Ali bin Hwayden Al Ketbi, the Chairman of the Sharjah Equestrian Club, stated that the Fatameen Races held at Al Dhaid Equestrian Field continue to witness strong participation from foals representing various parts of the United Arab Emirates and the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
