Sharjah 24: The Sharjah's Documents House initiated the "Here is History" campaign to showcase the emirate's historical sites. Thirty professional photographers participated in the tour, visiting notable landmarks like the Al Aqroubi Mosque, the ancient Talaa Tower, and the Central Market.
Nasser Badr Al Naqbi, Head of Public Relations at the Sharjah's Documents House, stated that the campaign’s goal is to spotlight Sharjah's historical landmarks and showcase the emirate's urban and cultural revival.

Speaking to “Sharjah 24”, Al Naqbi elaborated that this initiative is part of The Documents House's dedication to documenting Sharjah's historical and architectural legacy and raising awareness about the significance of conserving these landmarks. The Documents House arranged a photographic excursion across Sharjah's historical sites, involving 30 participants, including professional photographers of diverse specialties.

The Public Relations Department head mentioned that the tour encompassed visits to landmarks like the Al Aqroubi Mosque, the ancient Talaa Tower in Al Khan, alongside the central market and old town in Al Hira. Throughout the excursion, photographers captured numerous images showcasing the magnificence of these historical sites, shedding light on Sharjah's urban and cultural evolution.

Al Naqbi highlighted that this initiative aligns with the Documents House's mission to raise awareness about Sharjah's historical and architectural heritage. Its aim is to encourage public visits to these landmarks and foster an appreciation for their ancient history.
