Sharjah Club champion of U-10 Football Festival

Sharjah 24: In the recent football festival organised by the Sharjah Sports Council, the Sharjah Club team secured first place in the 10-year-old category. The tournament, held at the stadiums of Sharjah and Khorfakkan Clubs, featured the participation of 8 clubs.
Khorfakkan Club claimed second place, with Al Bataeh Club securing third place. Mane’ Jamal from Sharjah was also recognised with an award. Abdullah Khalifa, the goalkeeper of Al Bataeh, was named the best goalkeeper, while Fahd Ali from Khorfakkan received the top scorer award.

The closing ceremony was attended at the Sharjah Sports Club Stadium, and the winners were crowned by Abdullah Sultan, Member of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Sports Council. Faisal Jaafar, Member of the Board of Directors of the Football Company of Al Bataeh Club and General Supervisor of the age stages; Mohammed Obaid Al Hussan, Director of the Sports Affairs and Development Department; Ibrahim Saif bin Ghafan, Head of the Department of Professionalism; Jassim Al Dokhi, Head of the Individual Games Department, and some employees.

Mohammed Obaid Al Hussan commended the high level of players at this early stage and the emergence of numerous promising talents. He highlighted the tournament's success in fostering a competitive spirit and enthusiasm among the players, evident in the intense competition among all eight participating teams. Al Hussan confirmed that the tournament will proceed with U-11 and U-13 categories until the month's end.
