Sharjah 24: Today, at Hazza Bin Zayed Stadium, Al Wasl secured their third His Highness the President's Cup title by defeating Al Nasr 4-0.
Fabio Lima scored from the penalty spot in the 51st and 53rd minutes, followed by Haris Seferovic in the 64th minute, and Ali Saleh in the 81st minute for Al Wasl.
Securing this win marks Al-Wasl's third time clinching the prestigious cup title, following their victories in 1987 and 2007. If they claim the ADNOC Professional League title as well, they could replicate their historic double from 2007, triumphing in both the league and cup within a single season.
