With the win, Al Wasl further solidified its position at the top of the competition, increasing its tally to 45 points. Meanwhile, Khorfakkan's points remained at 17, placing them in the tenth position.

The goals for Al Wasl were scored by Fabio Lima in the 56th minute, Nicolás Giménez, in the 70th minute, and Siaka Sidibe in the 81st minute.
