This inspiring step comes within the framework of Rubu’ Qarn Foundation’s keenness to provide participants with future skills, and to invest in their passion for the field of robotics, which has become indispensable in many sectors, in an environment that stimulates creativity with modern and unique methods.
The technological activities revolve around training participants in interactive workshops on the basics of building mobile robots in a creative design, exploring the secrets of their interesting world, and learning about their areas of use, in accordance with the STEAM curriculum, which is a combination of science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
The participants enjoyed the exploratory adventure to learn with creativity, by mastering the skills of handling small parts of robots and learning about the function of each of them, and then learning the ABCs of programming languages and how to choose the appropriate programming language for the robot to be used, all the way to its final programming to perform the tasks required to be carried out in a specific time, in addition to enhancing their abilities to identify potential problems and reach innovative solutions.
Technological activities are carried out in Rubu’ Qarn institutions centres in Sharjah, namely in Al Qarayen, Al Khalidiyah, Al Raqqa, Al Heera, and Al Bataeh, and the Wasit Youth Centre; Sharjah children’s and youth centres in Al Dhaid and Al Thamid; Children’s Centre in Mleiha in the central region; the children’s and youth centers and Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah in the Eastern Region in Kalba and Khorfakkan, Sharjah Children’s and Youth Centres in Dibba Al Hisn, and the Children’s Centre in Wadi Al Hilu.
