Sharjah24: The Al Kharous Council, affiliated with the Districts Affairs Department, marked the occasion of Eid al-Fitr with a grand reception held at Al Khuroos Park in Al Dhaid City. Families and residents were treated to a lavish Eid "Fawalah" and dinner.
On the third day of Eid, the council welcomed families, visitors, and well-wishers following the evening prayers, with a special focus on hosting families for the night. The esteemed guests were greeted by Mr. Juma Abdullah Al Maghni, the council's chairman, along with his deputy, Abdullah Mohammed Sabeian, and other council members. Notable attendees included members of the Consultative Council of Sharjah, such as Mr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Alawi Al Zahoori, Mr. Hamad Abdullah Hamid Al Riami, and Mr. Hameed Obaid Al Hamoudi.
The Eid "Fawalah" initiative is one of the cherished traditions that the council diligently organises, aiming to revive such customs in line with its social role of fostering familial bonds and enhancing social cohesion during the festive period. It also seeks to instill Emirati traditions in families and their children, promoting communication and interaction to spread the joyous spirit of Eid and its social atmosphere.
Highlighting the commitment of the Al Kharous Council to strengthen social ties and foster relationships among the diverse segments of society, Al Maghni stressed the importance of nurturing social cohesion and enhancing existing social bonds among residents across all neighbourhoods.
