Sharjah 24: Within the framework of efforts to enhance community cooperation and expand the horizons of higher education, Al Kharous Council of Sharjah Districts Affairs Department visted Al Dhaid University.
This visit aimed at reviewing the specialisations available at the university, and exploring future cooperation opportunities between the university and the council.
The event was attended by Dr. Saleh Mohammed Al Lahibi, Deputy Assistant Chancellor for Branch Affairs; Maryam Al Musafri, Head of the Public Relations Department; Mohammed Al Zaabi, Administrative Assistant; Maryam Al Ketbi, Administrative Assistant; Mohammed Al Ketbi, Library Employee; and Moza Al Ketbi, Public relations officer; in addition to Khalifa Al Ketbi, public relations officer.
On the part of Al Kharous Council, His Excellency Juma Abdullah Al Mughni, Chairman of the Council; His Excellency Hassan Muhammad Al Dhahouri, Council Member; and Saeed Ali Al Bukhi Al Dhahouri, Council Official, participated in the visit.
The visit included a comprehensive review of the specialisations available at Al Dhaid University, in addition to opening the door to dialogue and discussion about future means of cooperation between the two parties in the fields of scientific research and community development.
The visit participants stressed the importance of building fruitful partnerships between the university and the council with the aim of achieving sustainable development, better serving the community, and developing potential means of cooperation between the university and Al Kharous Council in areas that enhance cooperation and serve citizens’ affairs.
His Excellency Juma Abdullah Al Mughni confirmed that such visits come within the framework of a series of visits that the council is keen to conduct within the framework of its work under the department umbrella, which aims to strengthen the council’s relations with the relevant authorities and departments, especially Al Dhaid University.
His Excellency Juma Abdullah Al Mughni pointed out that Al Dhaid University is one of the entities partnering with the work of Al Kharous Council, in light of the enrollment of many students from Al Kharous region to study in its colleges and the importance of following them up academically.
