Al Dhaid Ramadan Air Shooting Championship crowns winners

Sharjah24: The 29th edition of the Al Dhaid Ramadan Air Shooting Championship concluded with the participation of 150 competitors from various clubs across the country in the categories of air rifle and pistol. The event took place at the shooting range of the club as part of the fifth Ramadan Gathering activities. It included junior and general categories, involving participants from all segments of society.
Following the championship, Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club, honoured the winners, alongside Malik Musabah Al Kitbi, Chairman of the Investment Committee of Al Dhaid Club, Saif bin Dluwan Al Kitbi, Chairman of the Strategic Planning Committee of Al Dhaid Club, and Mehir Obaid Al Khayyal Al Tunaiji, Administrative Manager of Al Dhaid Club.

Winners were recognised in various age categories. In the junior shooter category (6 to 14 years old), Abdullah Amin Muthana secured first place, followed by Mohammed Amin Muthana in second place. Among youth participants (15 to 20 years old), Khaled Mohammed Al Kitbi claimed the top spot, with Abdullah Khalifa Al Kitbi securing second place.

In the men's category (21 to 50 years old), Saeed Mubarak Al Kitbi took first place, while Rashid Khalifa Al Kitbi secured second place. For participants above 51 years old, Rashid Mohammed Hamouda Al Kitbi secured first place, with Khalifa Abdullah Al Kitbi in second place.

In the professional youth rifle category, Fatima Obaid Al Suwaidi secured first place, followed by Sultan Saleh Hassan in second place, and Mona Hassan Al Housani in third place. In the professional general rifle category, Ibrahim Khalil Ibrahim secured first place, followed by Salem Rashid Al Yamahi in second place, and Talal Al Ali in third place.

In the professional youth pistol category, Abdullah Saif Abdullah secured first place, followed by Saud Ahmed Al Ali in second place, and Saeed Jumaa Al Taniji in third place. In the professional general pistol category, Amin Muthana Taher secured first place, followed by Ahmed Abdullah Al Ameri in second place, and Salem Mohammed Al Tunaiji in third place.

During the ceremony, the judging committee and the chairman of the organising committee, Ali Al Kitbi, were honoured and thanked for their efforts.

Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club expressed gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for his continuous support to the club and the sport of shooting. He also thanked the Emirates Shooting Federation for supervising the championship and emphasised the great success achieved by the championship in its vision to promote shooting sports in the community.
