Sharjah Police’s CID organises its first Ramadan forum

Sharjah24: The Criminal Investigations Department at the Sharjah Police General Command recently organised its first Ramadan forum, titled "A Safe Society and a Pioneering Police." The forum was attended by several department directors of Sharjah Police and its employees, including Brigadier General Ahmed Haji Al Serkal, Director General of Police Operations, Brigadier Ibrahim Musabah Al Ajel, Deputy Director General, and Brigadier Omar Ahmed Bu Al Zoud, Director of the Criminal Investigation and Investigation Department.
The forum began with a screening of film material for the virtual family, "Sanad and Sun," who are considered the first virtual lecturers specialised in security awareness. Following this, the Ramadan session commenced and hosted Major Humaid Khalfan Al Kindi, Head of the Institutional Excellence Department in the Strategy and Performance Development Department, Captain Mubarak Sultan Al Ketbi, Director of the Strategic Analysis and Planning Branch, and Captain Abdul Rahman Muhammad Al Mushtaghil, Director of the Institutional Excellence Branch in the General Administration of Police Operations. The session was moderated by Major Mayed Sultan Ayyaf.

The session focused on introducing the Sharjah Police General Command's strategy for 2024-2027, which centres on the vision of a "safe society and leading police" and its mission for Sharjah Police to be a leader in the field of security through its qualified talents, harnessing advanced technology to maintain public order, and providing police services that enhance the quality of community security. It also highlighted the role of the Criminal Investigations Department in achieving the goals of the new strategy and improving its efforts to achieve security and safety for society, confront all challenges, and address them in a scientific and practical systematic manner.

Following the first Ramadan meeting, Brigadier General Ahmed Haji Al Serkal, along with Brigadier General Ibrahim Musabih Al Ajel and Brigadier Omar Ahmed Bu Al Zawd, recognised and honoured the distinguished employees of the Criminal Investigations and Investigations Department who won awards in various fields and who contributed to solving and discovering complex crimes. The heads of the various departments and their branch managers were also recognised for their efforts, and were urged to continue giving, excellence and innovation to advance the work and develop its mechanisms.
