Sharjah 24: The Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, Sharjah Noble Quran, Sunnah Est, and Sharjah Charity International began their annual Holy Quran competition. There was a large attendance from the city of Dibba Al Hisn, Quran and Sunnah circles, and club members for the competition.
Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Est. convened a committee to assess the contestants.
Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Mutawa, who chairs the board of directors of Dibba Al Hisn Sports Club, has spoken highly of the value of religious contests like these in encouraging the next generation to study and become experts in Holy Quran memorisation.
He made the point that the club's dedication to cultural service to its members and society is reflected in these contests, which help to inculcate the principles of the Holy Quran.
