Sharjah24: Brigadier Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, recently witnessed the conclusion of the thirty-first edition of the Ramadan Police Championship. The event was organised by the Sports Activities Section of the Media and Public Relations Department at the Sharjah Police Club stadiums, and it involved the participation of 502 police players from various departments in the command, as well as employees of the Sharjah Social Services Department and Al Qasimi Hospital.
The closing ceremony was attended by several high-ranking officials, including Brigadier General Ahmed Al Serkal, the Director General of Police Operations, Brigadier Sami Al Naqbi, the Director General of the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority, and Brigadier Abdullah Ibrahim bin Nassar, the Acting Director General of Resources and Support Services. Also in attendance were directors of departments, former national team players Mohsen Musabih and Bashir Saeed, Faisal Khalil, and more than 400 people from Sharjah Police officers, the General Command of the Emiri Guard, the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority, the Academy of Police Sciences, as well as representatives from Al Qasimi Hospital and the Department of Social Services.

During the event, Brigadier General Bin Amer praised the tremendous success of the Ramadan Police Championship, highlighting the strength of competition among the participants and the efforts of the organising committee members. He emphasised that these factors significantly impacted the tournament's success, and he commended the sportsmanship exhibited by all the players. The goal of the Sharjah Police in hosting the game was to provide its members with purposeful sporting activities and programs that help strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and communication among them and enhance the spirit of familiarity and harmony among its members from various military ranks.

In conclusion, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police crowned the General Directorate of Police Operations team with General Shield and also presented cups and prizes to the three teams that won first place, where the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority team achieved first place in football. The General Directorate of Police Operations team came in second place. The General Command Team of the Emiri Guard came in third place. In the volleyball competition, the Central Region Police Department team came in first place, the General Department of Central Operations came in second place, and the General Command of the Emiri Guard came in third place for the tug-of-war competition, the General Command of the Emiri Guard won first place, the General Administration of Police Operations in second place, and the General Administration of Central Operations in third place.

In the 50-meter swimming championship, Mohammed Al Ansari from the General Department of Police Operations won first place, Imad Bali from the General Command of the Emiri Guard won second place, and Mustafa Al Tamimi from Al Qasimi Hospital won third place.

As for the 100-meter distance, Mohammed Al Ansari from the General Directorate of Police Operations also took first place, Imad Bali from the General Command of the Emiri Guard took second place, and Saud Hameed from the General Directorate of Police Operations took third place.

The results of the padel tennis tournament, which was held on the club’s grounds, showed that the General Administration of Central Operations won first place, the General Administration of the Police Science Academy won second place, the General Administration of Police Operations won third place, and the General Command of the Emiri Guard took fourth place.
