Sharjah24: The Farm Oversight Committee in Sharjah is intensifying its inspection tours as part of the emirate's commitment to organized business operations. This initiative, in line with directives from the Sharjah Executive Council, aims to curb violations and ensure adherence to regulations, thereby enhancing the emirate's aesthetic appeal and preserving property while preventing misuse and unauthorized activities.
Led by Khaled bin Falah Al Suwaidi, Director of Customer Service at Sharjah City Municipality, the committee recently visited several farms in Al Zubair area. These visits, attended by committee members from various government entities, focused on identifying and addressing any violations. Al Suwaidi emphasized that farms in Sharjah are allocated and designated for specific purposes, such as agriculture or pet breeding, to benefit owners and contribute to food security.
Any improper use of farms is considered detrimental to the overall appearance and violates regulations. Consequently, the committee, under the guidance of the Executive Council, is closely monitoring and addressing such instances. During their inspections, the committee identified unlicensed residences, poor storage practices, and equestrian training centers operating without permits, among other observations.
Al Suwaidi stressed the ongoing nature of inspection visits to farms, ensuring compliance with regulations and maximizing their benefits for both owners and the emirate. These efforts aim to achieve established goals, enhance the emirate's appearance, and curb any negative practices.
