Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Department of Public Works (SDPW) organised a group Iftar for its employees, with the aim of enhancing social communication among employees, providing a positive work environment, supporting bonds of belonging, and creating a family atmosphere.
Director of the Corporate Contact Centre, Maryam Al Mazmi, congratulated all employees on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, wishing everyone continued success in performing their duties.
She stressed that such occasions are an opportunity for workers to communicate, and promote the dissemination of a culture of tolerance, which reflects positively on work, and represents an incentive to give their best during their work.
She also praised their impact on the department's vital activities in providing the best services to the residents of the Emirate of Sharjah, stressing the importance of the human element in growth and development, and urging them to continue developing their skills, as this reflects positively on themselves and on the development of the work environment.
Organising the annual Iftar for employees comes in line with the department’s commitment to social responsibility, enhancing its role, and its continuous endeavour to intensify its efforts and adopt initiatives and activities that will contribute to developing a sense of belonging, participation, and institutional loyalty.
