Sharjah 24: Those looking for jobs in Sharjah were able to participate in a first-aid workshop hosted by the Sharjah Department of Human Resources (SDHR) in February at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Individuals with a wide range of academic backgrounds and professional interests were to participate in the programme's emergency preparedness training.

Participants studied the roles and duties of a first aider, how to assess an event, what precautions to take, and how to treat minor injuries, including bleeding and fractures, over the course of two days.Learning how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) were among the many topics addressed in the interactive activities.

Learners will be able to accurately conduct technical aspects of first aid because of the programme's emphasis on practical application and hands-on experience.

A membership card from "Highfield" in first aid and an internationally recognised certification are given to participants who successfully complete the programme and pass the certification tests.

The department's mission is to assist people in securing employment by developing and implementing certification programmes and professional assistance that adhere to recognised scientific and professional standards.

The primary goal of SDHR is to train the next generation of national human resources to handle any emergency that may arise, as well as to meet all regulations pertaining to healthy and safe workplaces.
