Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Private Education Authority organised a distinguished professional development session titled “Excellence in Infants and Young Children’s Curricula” for directors of private and government nurseries in the emirate. This valuable session was hosted by Dr. Bushra Qaddoura, an expert in improving early childhood centres and nurseries at the Sharjah Private Education Authority.
The session witnessed active participation by nursery managers, during which they were able to deepen their knowledge of current curricula and assessment criteria for infants and toddlers. The course allowed participants to critically evaluate their teaching practices and curriculum implementation, and identify strengths and areas for improvement.

Attendees expressed great benefit from the session, as they gained the ability to create and implement targeted improvement plans, which will ultimately enhance the quality of education and care provided to infants and toddlers.

Moreover, the session aimed to promote a culture of continuous improvement in the educational approach, which will contribute to achieving better results for young learners. These goals effectively guide preschools through a step-by-step process to address early childhood curriculum and assessment issues.

This session comes within the framework of the efforts of the Sharjah Private Education Authority to enhance education and care in the field of early childhood, and confirms its commitment to the professional development of nursery employees with the aim of providing high-quality educational services to young people. This reflects SPEA’s constant dedication to improving education at all levels, and enhances the cooperative spirit between educational institutions and the local community to achieve development goals and sustainable development.
