During its tour of the Sharjah Children, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, and the Sharjah Youth, the committee was briefed on their efforts and work in presenting modern development visions.
During the visit, they inspected the activities and programmes they offer, which aim to develop the skills and capabilities of members at all ages, and learned about the business system approved by Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Muhammad Al Qasimi, wife of the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of Rubu’ Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, as part of the efforts made to translate the vision of Her Highness in preparing a promising national generation.
The committee visit included Sheikha Ali Al Naqbi, Chairwoman of the Committee; Dr. Ahmed Saleh Al Naqbi, Committee Rapporteur; Kaltham Saif Al Tunaiji; Sheikha Khalfan Al Dhaneen Al Naqbi; Moza Maadhad bin Howaiden; Yousef Muhammad Al Mazrouei; and from the General Secretariat of the Council, Hoda Al Hammadi, Secretary of the Committee, and Islam Al Shiwi, media expert.
In Sharjah Children, the delegation was received by Khawla Sharif Al Hawai, Director of the Sharjah Children and during the tour, they were briefed on the work of Sharjah Children efforts to prepare its members for the future and motivate them to be creative and innovative, as well as working to invest their latent energies to achieve a comprehensive development renaissance in the Emirate of Sharjah and the United Arab Emirates.
At Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, the delegation was received by Sheikha Al Shamsi, Director, who accompanied them and briefed them on what is offered to the girls and the ongoing endeavour to prepare a generation of girls capable of serving the nation using the latest modern methods and programmes, and paying attention to their talents and energies through the implemented workshops, in addition to qualifying them to contribute effectively in the Emirati arena in all fields.
At Sharjah Youth, they were received by Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Yasi, Director General, and his assistants. Dr. Abdul Rahman Al Yas explained the roles of youth, in addition to organising the Sharjah Youth Shura and Sharjah Children’s Shura, and the continuous endeavour to adopt the best practices in the field of innovation and early discovery of young talents between the ages of 13 and 18.
The Committee for Education, Culture, Media and Youth Affairs of Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) expressed its happiness in exploring the different activities and programmes provided but the visited institutions, which are added to the series of programmes aimed at enhancing the skills and abilities of children and youth at different stages of their lives, which reflects the commitment of these institutions to providing a comprehensive and distinguished experience.
They pointed out that these plans and programmes come within the framework of achieving the vision of Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairwoman of Rubu’ Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, in building a distinguished and inspiring national generation, as the visit formed part of examining the efforts made to translate this vision into a tangible reality and achieve the desired goal to develop society and build a promising future for the next generation.
