Sharjah 24: Aisha Hussein Al Hammadi, Director of the Strategy and Institutional Development Department at the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA), revealed that the authority has launched 15 innovative projects and many innovative workshops, in conjunction with the activities of the UAE Innovation Month 2024, at the authority’s headquarters.
Al Hammadi indicated in exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24,” that the most prominent of these projects are the expansion of Al Layya station, the Labih project, the Nafaa virtual assistant project, as well as the project to detect water leaks from lines via satellite, in addition to the innovative maintenance laboratory, the SEWA lamp, the Metaverse application for vocational training, and the innovative Al Shanouf power station, which is the first of its kind in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Concluding her statement, Al Hammadi invited the authority’s visitors to visit the exhibition held and see the innovative projects and initiatives during Monday and Tuesday at the authority’s main headquarters.
