Sharjah24: Sharjah City for Humanitarian Services has announced that registration is now open for the International Scientific Conference on "Theory and Practice in APE". The conference will take place on March 6th and 7th and will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, in partnership with California State University-Chico and Sharjah Education Academy.
"Sharjah Humanitarian Services" offers the opportunity to attend conference sessions either in person or virtually, which requires registration via a social media account or the official website, www.schs.ae. The organising committee has made efforts to provide a live broadcast of the conference activities, making it accessible to the target audience both within and outside the country.

The conference aims to raise awareness about the latest developments and modern practices in the field of adapted physical education for people with disabilities. It targets a wide range of individuals, including physical education professionals, inclusive schools, doctors from various specialties, students with disabilities and their families, leaders, and officials in institutions and bodies related to disability and sports clubs specialised in sports for people with disabilities. Also, developers of sports programmes, sports, or supportive tools and technologies specific to sports are encouraged to attend.

The conference program showcases research and models from different countries around the world to promote the support of sports for individuals with disabilities by sports organisations and governmental and community agencies. The aim is to provide them with the necessary resources for achieving success in sports, while also contributing to changing the general perception of people with disabilities. The ultimate goal is to achieve equality and justice in sports.
