Sharjah24 - WAM: His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, attended the opening of the World Governments Summit (WGS) 2024, being held in Dubai under the theme of “Shaping Future Governments”.
During the summit, Sheikh Mohammed met with Sheikh Salem bin Khalid Al Qassimi, Minister of Culture; Dr. Maitha bint Salem Al Shamsi, Minister of State; Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, Minister of State; Mohamed Al Sharhan, Managing Director of the WGS Organisation; Huda Al Hashimi, Deputy Minister for Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Affair; and Abdulla Ali Al Hmoudi, UAE Ambassador to Bangladesh.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad underscored the importance of the World Governments Summit in highlighting the most pressing issues and challenges facing the world today, as well as its pivotal role in bringing together leaders, decision-makers and experts from around the world.
He also met with Dustee Jenkins, Chief Public Affairs Officer at Spotify; Dr. Thomas Cahill, Co-founder and Managing Director of Newpath Partners; and Jon Oringer, Founder and CEO of Shutterstock; among several others.
The Crown Prince of Fujairah exchanged views with the guests of the global event on various topics and the importance of partnership between the public and private sectors. He further stressed the importance of sharing experiences and different practices that serve humanity and enhance the quality of life in all areas.
