Sultan bin Ahmed attends modern management systems workshop

Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed and the attendees learned about the topics of the workshop, which come within a series of meetings of the “Tamayouz” program, and focused on the concepts of modern management, and the necessity of institutions adopting the best international standards and experiences to move on the path to success.
Sultan bin Ahmed listened to an explanation about the characteristics of successful institutions, which focus their work on several elements, including leadership, strategy, institutional capabilities, and human talent. These entities also have leadership that adapts to changes, applies flexibility, creative thinking, anticipating the future, and continuous improvement.
The workshop discussed the importance of staying updated on the best global practices and understanding and studying the market and competitors. It also emphasized the adoption of innovative ideas and dealing with risks by establishing a risk management system specific to the institution to handle them in the best possible way. The workshop also focused on the importance of structuring governance, through which entities make appropriate decisions .
The Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and the attendees also watched a film that highlighted the importance of the success factors for organizations and the steps that should be followed to elevate institutions and maintain the success they have achieved. The film also addressed the reasons why some major entities fail to sustain the position they have reached, showcasing prominent global models and real-life experiences.
The workshop included a panel discussion on the most important practices in modern management systems and the utilization of global experiences and major institutions mentioned in the workshop, which would have a positive impact on the development of participating entities in the award.
