Sharjah24: Expo Centre Sharjah (ECS) has concluded its successful participation in the BETT education technology exhibition and conference, which took place in London from January 24 to 26. Joining the Sharjah Private Education Authority’s pavilion, ECS showcased its experience organising and hosting major educational conferences and exhibitions, along with other specialised events that exemplify its expertise in diversifying the exhibitions sector.
The ECS delegation, including Sultan Shattaf, Director of Sales and Marketing at Expo Centre Sharjah, and Gaurav Gadkar, Director of Educational Exhibitions at ECS, highlighted how the Centre furthers the exhibition sector’s contribution to the growth of economic, commercial, and cultural sectors. Educational exhibitions represent a piece of this effort, and the Centre has garnered extensive experience in developing and organising national and international events in this field.

One standout event by ECS is its annual International Education Show, renowned as one of the top higher education events across the Middle East and responsible for attracting thousands of visitors to peruse the exhibits of more than 100 educational and academic institutions participating alongside the most prestigious local and international universities.

Sultan Shattaf said ECS’ participation in the British education technology exhibition and conference proves its commitment to building partnerships with a host of exhibition organisers, as well as its keenness to be present in international arenas that serve as major forums for the exchange of remarkable expertise and experiences on a global scale. The Centre is also eager to gain exposure to the best international practices in the specialised exhibition industry.

By engaging in BETT, Shattaf noted, the ECS aimed to boost the attendance of international educational institutions at its exhibitions. During the show, the delegation held several work meetings with representatives of academic institutions, and highlighted its educational events and the world-class facilities and services it offers to participants and visitors.
