Sharjah 24: The Board of Directors of the Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club held its 2024 first meeting today, Monday, in Souq Al Jubail in Al Hamriyah. The meeting was the club’s chairman Humaid Al Shamsi, with the presence of all board members in addition to the club’s Executive Director.
At the onset of the meeting, Al Shamsi congratulated the members of Al Hamriyah Club on crowning the club with the General Excellence Award for the Sharjah Sports Sustainability Council Award, praising the efforts of the work team that played a major role in achieving the award.
Humaid Al Shamsi directed the leaders of the group and individual sports committees to work on creating champions who will raise the name of the club, the emirate and the country in international forums, similar to swimmer Hamad Al Shehhi, who won gold and bronze with the UAE national team in the second Arab Aquatics Age Group Championships in Qatar.
He called for launching initiatives that serve the region’s community and enhance the community participation of the Al Hamriyah citizens in the club’s activities and events.
Humaid Al Shamsi praised the Communications and Digital Media Committee, directing steady continuation to keep pace with the development witnessed in the media field, to further advance the committee’s work.
