The four-day exhibition, which continues through January 21, serves as a unique platform for the agriculture and livestock sector, enabling exhibitors to showcase the latest techniques and equipment in agriculture and livestock development. Participants can benefit from innovative solutions for regional grain and wheat cultivation. They will have the opportunity to exchange expertise, technical know-how on hydroponics and vertical farming, and contemporary irrigation and horticulture techniques, as well as learn about cutting-edge, quality pesticides and organic fertilisers.
The event will feature several panel sessions hosting agricultural and veterinary experts to speak on various topics, most notably, sustainability, agricultural techniques, and livestock. There will be an open meeting for private sector companies engaged in agricultural and animal production, workshops aimed at highlighting best practices in the field, training programmes to upgrade the capacities of farmers and agricultural workers, and advisory services.
The exhibition, which will welcome the public from 10 am to 7 pm daily, will include a series of special activities and seminars allowing participants and companies operating in the sector to discuss networking opportunities with potential partners, land deals, and explore prospects for investment and further cooperation. These activities will also enhance Sharjah's position as a major agriculture and livestock hub that supports farmers and expands their productive capacities, thereby contributing to responsible and sustainable food security.
