The Sharjah Cooperative Society's Branch in Al Rahmaniyah Commercial Centre will host the event, which will include more than 150 classic cars and motorcycles.
In addition to developing a culture of vintage automobile ownership and facilitating knowledge sharing, the prize hopes to inspire a competitive spirit among vintage vehicle owners.
Improving Sharjah's standing as a cultural and touristic destination on a worldwide scale is another objective. The most beautiful car as chosen by the public is one of several categories that are part of the prize, along with the oldest participating car and motorcycle. Another is the best restored car to factory condition.
At the closing ceremony on February 4, 2024, a specialised committee will reveal the winners after evaluating the cars. Vintage cars must be in pristine condition to be eligible for entry, and certain classes do not accept reproductions or kit cars.
The importance of the award in highlighting the history, art, and beauty of classic cars, as well as in fostering information sharing and protecting this worldwide industrial legacy, was highlighted by Dr Ali Ahmed Abu Al Zoud, Chairman of the Sharjah Old Cars Club's Board of Directors.
