Sharjah Old Cars Club promotes concept of sustainability

Sharjah 24: As part of the final preparations for participation in the Sharjah Council Award for Sport Sustainability, the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Old Cars Club, headed by Dr. Ali Ahmed Abu Al-Zoud, Chairman of the Council, reviewed the efforts and achievements of the various work teams to participate in this prominent sporting event.
During the meeting, the achievements and efforts made by team members and club workers during the preparations phase were highlighted, as well as the positive interaction and effective cooperation that contributed to achieving high-quality results.

Dr. Abu Al Zoud affirmed the club’s commitment to continuing to support initiatives and events that contribute to enhancing sports sustainability and enhancing its competitive position, as the first specialised club to obtain the ISO certificate in the environmental management system and occupational health and safety system at the level of similar specialised clubs.

Emphasising the importance of these achievements and their positive impact in raising the level of preparations for participation in the prestigious award, Abu Al Zoud praised the collective spirit and dedication shown durig the work of the teams.

Majed Al Bardan, member of the club’s Board of Directors and Chairman of the Sustainability Committee, provided a comprehensive explanation of the specific initiatives through which the club has promoted the concept of sustainability, and reviewed the most prominent activities supporting the club’s efforts to achieve sports sustainability.
