Sharjah 24: Dr. Adnan Saloum, a specialist in theatrical arts at the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, confirmed that the open day for theatre and performing arts at the Zahia Arts Theatre and Centre coincides with Arab Theatre Day, which is officially recognised annually on January 10th by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah.
He told “Sharjah 24,” that on this day, we commemorate the foundation's successes from the previous year, announce programmes, awards, and projects for the following year, and demonstrate the foundation's future vision for the theatre and performing arts project in 2024.
Dr. Adnan Saloum mentioned that there were several programmes, including the continuous training programme and the theatrical leadership programme, as well as competitions and awards like the playwriting competition, the theatrical creativity award, the Farjan Theatre project, and the university theatre project.
