519 contestants qualify for SNQSE Award

Sharjah 24: The final qualifying activities for the 26th Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment (SNQSE) Award, concluded on Thursday, under the generous patronage of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
519 participants from the UAE citizens and residents qualified for the final rounds, at the country level, including 277 females participating in the categories of the Holy Quran, Sunnah, senior citizens, the memorising mother, and people of determination. 242 male contestants participated in the categories of the Holy Quran, Sunnah, those skilled in the Quran, and people of determination. 

The final began on December 18 at the theatre of the Holy Quran Academy in Sharjah, and continued until December 28. This vital period included testing the participants and entries in the multiple award categories.

The total number of male and female contestants, in general, reached 2081 participants, 878 female and 763 male contestants applying at the UAE level, in addition to 216 female and 224 male contestants at the level of the Emirate of Sharjah. 

The jury committees are now following up on the final qualifiers, in preparation for announcing the winners in the different branches of the Award, including the Holy Quran and Sunnah.
