Sharjah 24: Engineer Abdul Rahman Al Naqbi, Head of Kalba Constituency Committee, praised the efforts of the Supreme Committee and the subcommittees for managing the 2023 Sharjah Consultative Council (SCC) elections, and the different types of support they provide for the success of the democratic process in the emirate.
Engineer Abdul Rahman Al Naqbi and the committee team received, on Saturday, a delegation from the Smart Systems Committees and the Sharjah Consultative Council Elections Department, at the polling station in Kalba City Neighbourhood Council.
Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, Al Naqbi said that the headquarters is fully prepared to receive voters during the scheduled voting period from December 5 to 7.
Al Naqbi pointed out that all capabilities are being harnessed to make the electoral process a success, by providing distinguished staff who have been trained to receive voters registered in advance, and guide them to cast their votes.
Al Naqbi appreciated the efforts of the Supreme Committee, and the provision of of support to the electoral districts, to prepare the voting centres and ensure the optimal success of the last stages of the elections.
As part of its tour, the delegation of the Supreme Committee for Election Management inspected the polling station of the city of Khorfakkan, at the Expo Centre Khorfakkan, and praised the efforts of the city’s electoral district committee in preparing the polling stations to receive voters, and allocating places for candidates and media professionals.
