She stated that BEEAH’s participation in “COP28” reviewed a number of the most prominent qualitative projects that the group put forward during the previous period, including the Sharjah Waste-to-Energy Plant, which generates about 30 megawatt of electricity, and it treats about 300,000 tonnes of waste annually, enough to feed 28,000 homes in the Emirate of Sharjah.
Speaking exclusively to “Sharjah 24”, Al Banna added that the participation reviewed the industrial and commercial waste recycling station project, which uses robots to sort waste, reaching a waste conversion rate of 90%, which is the highest rate in the Middle East.
