Sharjah24: The Sharjah Broadcasting Authority celebrated the 52nd Union Day in a patriotic atmosphere, filled with a strong sense of belonging, love for the homeland, and a commitment to the wise leadership. The event was graced by the presence of His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, and His Excellency Salem Ali Al Ghaithi, the Director of the Authority, along with a large gathering of employees.
The festivities were characterised by joy and enthusiasm, featuring a series of intellectual and cultural events and competitions. These activities showcased the rich history of the United Arab Emirates, commemorating its noteworthy achievements in economic, cultural, and social spheres, positioning it as a leading nation. Additionally, emphasis was placed on the traditional aspects that define Emirati society.
Accompanied by national anthems and songs, the employees of the Authority actively participated in the celebration, showing great enthusiasm for its various segments.
Khalaf extended congratulations to the wise leadership, the citizens of the country, and residents on its gracious land. He underscores that the 2nd of December 1971, the cherished anniversary celebrated annually, marked a historic milestone. It was a moment of unity, where the founding leaders proclaimed the establishment of a state that advocates peace, encourages tolerance, and considers the development of individuals as a fundamental element of its cultural progress.
