Sharjah24: Dibba Al Hisn is celebrating the United Arab Emirates' 52nd Union Day with parades and an array of cultural events and activities, with the presence of Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah in Kalba.
Organised by Dibba Al Hisn Municipality and the Municipal Council, Ahmed bin Yarouf Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Dibba Al Hisn Municipal Council, stated that the launch of the 52nd Union Day of the United Arab Emirates in Dibba Al Hisn, started with a march from the heritage village to Flagpole Square, led by a musical band from the Police Sciences Academy in Sharjah.
He pointed out, in exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24”, that the celebrations introduced various artistic activities, most notably a national operetta, “Harbiyah” band (an Emirati traditional dance), a special Paragliding show, and poetry.
